Our employees
Elgin – Receptionist
Carrick On Shannon, Ireland, with Emerald Star (operated by Le Boat) since 2005.
I love my work as a receptionist because I am constantly dealing with clients from around the world.
It is wonderful when customers are so grateful after receiving information on cruising areas and interesting insights in their own language before boarding. It is therefore absolutely necessary to love speaking different languages such as English, German, French, and any other languages. Even though Le Boat is an international company, there is a fantastic level of communication across the board and everyone is happy to help each other.
Pierre - Sales Manager UK/IE
Castelnaudary France, with Le Boat since 2014.
The first goal of my team is to find the perfect destination and boat to match the client’s request.
But, that is just one part of the customer’s journey and we are in charge of building this relationship from the booking right until they arrive at the base for their holiday. Sales challenges and customers satisfaction is what drives me. And, customer’s positive feedback at the end of their cruise makes my day! Working within Le Boat also means working for Travelopia (50 companies), being part of an international group is great, as we all share the same taste for new challenges, are passionate about tourism and devoted to providing the best possible service for customers. At Le Boat we are all on board!
Stefanie – N.Europe Marketing Manager
Bad Vidbel, Germany, with Le Boat since 2004.
I have a wonderful team around me and together we are spreading the word about our wonderful product day by day across various channels.
That’s why I’ve decided long time ago to work in the travel industry. I started as a Marketing Executive back in 2004, became a Senior Marketing Executive after a few years and finally I was offered the position as a Marketing Manager in 2011. I like the international spirit, hearing and speaking different languages, inspiring people and getting inspired. Do you know now, why I really #loveleboat?! Here’s too many more exciting times ahead…
Jean-Michel – Operational support
Southern France, with Le Boat since 2008
Le Boat has helped me to both grow personally and to develop my skills.
I found out about Le Boat while I was doing an internship during my degree in “Boat Tourism maintenance” a decade ago. And, following my internship, I was lucky enough to be recruited as seasonal Boat Technician at Le Boat. Following this, an opportunity to work in a Boat Mechanics role opened up and I immediately applied. And after two years on this role, I was promoted to a Base Manager, it was an incredibly enriching experience, and thanks to my time in this role I was promoted again to Cruising Assistant. Meaning for the past four years now, I have been in charge of the technical maintenance across Le Boat’s entire French fleet!
